WAC Lighting to deliver “The SSL Revolution” accredited presentation at Energy Expo

By Healthcare Facilities Today

Huntsville, Alabama--- WAC Lighting will deliver a presentation on LED Lighting and Organic LED Lighting during Inline Electric Supply Company’s 5th Annual Energy Efficiency Expo in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration at the world renowned United Space Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26th.

WAC Lighting’s presentation is titled “The SSL Revolution,” which offers educational credits by the AIA (American Institute of Architects), ALA (American Lighting Association), ASID (American Society of Designers) and other design organizations. Providing the CEU course will be Gennady Giovanni Gallardo, Regional Sales Manager of WAC Lighting, a leading designer and manufacturer of task, decorative and architectural luminaires.  The event is geared towards architects, engineers, designers, contractors, facility and energy managers who can register for the event at www.InlineEvents.com.

“What we enjoy most about new science such as LED is that it can revolutionize design,” explained WAC Lighting President Shelley Wald. “Luminaires become cleaner and sleeker than before when were limited to large and glaring lamp options.  We can now provide people with a quality of lighting they never thought possible or knew they needed.”

The SSL (Solid State Revolution) CEU Course educates industry professionals on the primary features, benefits and functionality of LED and OLED (Organic LED) lighting, including the differences between traditional lamp sources and LEDs.  In addition, the course provides information on the features, benefits and future of OLED lighting.

“Energy concerns may have propelled the development of this science, but new consumer expectations of their lighting fixtures around maintenance, high lumen output, efficacy, quality of light and cool operation, in addition to energy savings, are what make this a revolution,” continued Ms. Wald.
