What hospitals can learn from airports

Look at healthcare patients like travelers and listen to their point of view as consumers

Hospitals could learn a few things from the airport, according to a blog in a Healthcare Facilities Symposium newsletter. The six observations from Gensler's Tama Duffy Day include:

1. Use brands and signage

2. Embrace the community

3. Create a calming place

4. Make all guests and customers feel welcome

5. Anticipate guest needs

6. Focus on well-being
