Workshop addresses unique concerns in healthcare construction

The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) is offering Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) workshops throughout the year at various locations nationwide.

The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) is offering Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) workshops throughout the year at various locations nationwide. 

The HCC workshop combines an e-learning program with a two-day seminar that covers critical topics unique to healthcare construction, including Life Safety Code® compliance, medical gas systems and more. 

According to ASHE, at the end of the workshop attendees will be equipped to: 

• Articulate factors that are unique to the planning, design, construction and renovation of healthcare facilities and implement best practices based on those factors.
• Implement plans for providing a safe healthcare environment during construction and renovation of healthcare facilities.
• Identify codes and standards compliance issues that are impacted during planning, design, construction and renovation, and implement measures to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate and effectively participate in communication with the healthcare construction or renovation project team and stakeholders.
