nora and its employees make second donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

nora systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial floor coverings, and its employees recently made a second donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The $4,700 gift is the result of a matching gift program that invited employees to donate $1 every pay period to the hospital. Since starting the program in 2014, nora® employees and the company have donated nearly $8,000 to the pediatric treatment and research facility.

“This year, as was the case last year, nora® employees demonstrated their support for the work of this worthwhile hospital,” said Heidi Anderson, human resources manager at nora. “I value their enthusiasm for the program and am thrilled to report that a majority of our employees again elected to participate in the voluntary contribution, which certainly speaks to the generosity of our employees.”

nora employees made donations of $2,350 over a twelve-month period in 2015, with the company making a matching gift of $2,350. The program will continue through 2016, challenging employees to again support the hospital and its lifesaving mission.

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of the hospital’s founder, Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
